I made a flying visit to Spin London yesterday. It's on all weekend in Shoreditch at Rochelle School and tickets are free. It's full of independent companies doing their thing with a love for bikes!
I said a quick 'Hello' to Little Wheels favourite Patrick at Plume who was busy with the fun of the Puddle Dash game. Definitely check it out if you're there and see if you can dodge getting a wet bum!
Huez* is super slick clothing, using really nice fabrics and shapes. Technical clothing that doesn't look like cycling clothing. Yeyyy! They had a nice little stand with some cute caps too!
Bee Outerwear is designed in East London and made in North London. What's not to love about keeping it local. Their stuff was really well made, super functional, with lots of detail and looked great too.
The hand painted saddles from South London Saddles were super cute and I love the idea of having a painted saddle. Just not sure what I would have on there!? Maybe Little Wheels matching saddles!?
8 Ball Bikes had a nice little stand too, another local company building bikes in their workshop in Hackney Wick.
I love the stuff from Pilgrim Cycling Co. Lovely screen printed T-shirts, all printed in London with designs from some great illustrators.
Shinola a company from Detroit have just opened a store here in Soho. They make lovely city bikes and have some beautiful leather accessories too, particularly the leather back pack which I looove.
Anyway Spin is on until Sunday...GO!
