Revolution Track Goodness
On Saturday evening I managed to sneak in to Revolution at Lee Valley Velodrome courtesy of my friend Paulie.
Revolution started in 2003 at the Manchester Velodrome. The series is now at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow and our lovely local Olympic Velodrome London. The event showcases not only British cyclists but international and youth too.
The first round of Revolution started with Laura Trott cleaning up with six out of six wins! It was great to watch her racing and of course Marianne Vos too. The Men's 60 lap scratch race was pretty epic with Alex Dowsett lapping the field, followed by three others, which included Ben Swift who won. Highlights from round 1 will be on Channel 4 on November 1st at 7am. Round 2 is in Manchester on 22nd November.
